ROSKELLY GROUP, CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP, ANNOUNCES DYNAMIC NEW BRAND FOR CITYAVE IN PHILADELPHIA
The City Avenue Services District, a unique partnership between the City of Philadelphia and Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, is sporting a new brand identity. The brand's creator is The Roskelly Group of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, and Philadelphia, Phillips Communications of Newport and Darien, Connecticut, and VisionSwirl of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
A non-profit business district formed in l999, CityAve is anchored by St. Joseph's University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and includes major businesses, hotels, media outlets, real estate investment firms, restaurants, and retailers.
The logo for CityAve, which will appear across all signage, communications and marketing materials, won a major award from Graphics Design USA right off the drawing board and before its implementation began.

The Roskelly Group, a cooperative team of senior consultants, brings full service creative branding and marketing to its clients, including award winning graphics design, copy, public relations programs, marketing materials, and web site and event creation. Principal and founder Tom Roskelly has rebranded a wing of Massachusetts General Hospital, a fund-raising event for St. Anne's Hospital, the law firm Sayer, Regan, Thayer and Flanagan, created marketing materials for The Preservation Society of Newport County, Smith's Detection Agency of London and New Jersey, Bill Blass and Arnold Palmer Corporate Apparel of New York, and Innovative Label Solutions, a high tech manufacturing company located in Florida. The Roskelly Group team recently managed a two-year launch marketing for The Carnegie Abbey Club, Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Roskelly, Inc. was the recipient of 19 awards graphic design and identity awards in 2006 including CityAve.
Public relations partner Phillips Communications recently celebrated its 20th year in business. The firm has won over 25 awards for campaigns in print, broadcast, and internet marketing. Phillips Communications' clients have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, People, Forbes, Business Week, Boston Common, The International Herald Tribune, Interior Design, newyorksocialdiary.com, and on Good Morning America, the Today Show, Larry King Live, CNN, and in local markets. The new branding package created for CityAve will extend to uniforms for special district patrolmen, and street signs. A new website is under construction by the Roskelly Group for the revitalized and vibrant district at www.cityave.org.
